Dear JSC "OTP Bank" cardholders, we draw your attention to the increasing fraud attempts on the Internet. In particular, it became known about the compromised cards details cases (card number, expiration date, CVV2-code) as a result of PCs infection with viruses and malware.

These viruses and malware are created to steal your card details, which the cardholder enters (stores) while making payment with his card on the Internet.

Compliance with the following essential rules / recommendations will help in protecting your personal information and making use of payment cards safe:

  • Keep your anti-virus program up to date, regularly update anti-virus databases;
  • Update your computer operating system in time, especially the security updates;
  • Install firewall, which will help you to prevent unauthorized access to your computer;
  • Do not enter information on the suspicious pages. Check the web address at which you make payment, fraudsters can use names similar to URLs of actual companies to redirect you to a fake website;
  • Site on which you enter card details must be protected by SSL/TLS-certificate, that is, URL should begin with «https://»;
  • If you have any suspicions during the website visiting or you do not want to provide details of your card or personal information, please, leave the page, report suspicions to the bank, make a purchase in another merchant;
  • Be careful and do not go to links in suspicious emails, do not open the files attached to them;
  • Do not respond to suspicious emails that ask for your confidential information, as the Bank never sends emails with such requests;
  • Do not use the services of suspicious Internet resources, they are often created especially for stealing bank card details and their subsequent misuse;
  • Before using the card in the Internet, make sure that you have the necessary information to contact the merchant in case of dispute or question. Make sure the correct address (telephone) is listed on the website;
  • do not send your card details to any third part;
  • connect the SMS-informing. In case of fraud, it will let you know as soon as an unauthorized transaction on the card happened and block the card timely, call the Call Center of the Bank;
  • If a suspicious transaction was made, immediately notify the Bank using the number listed on the back of your card.

If you suggest that your payment card may have been compromised, please contact the JSC "OTP Bank" Call Center and block the card. Additionally, you can report about possible card compromising through a link.

Checking the card account balance in automatic mode


Dear Customers!

You can receive information about the balance on your card account in automatic mode. The service provides 24 hours a day, free of charge and does not require connection with Call Center agent. Service is easy to use. All you have to do is to dial a Call center phone number 044 490 05 26 (city number in Kiev). Next, following voice instructions, press the button “1” on your phone, then dial all 16 digits of the card number (4 blocks of 4 digits on the facial side of the card) and listen information about balance on your payment card.
