Insurance for the whole family from Visa
Travel insurance from Visa is now available to Ukrainians temporarily living abroad. Travel alone or with children, and Visa will take care of all the hassle.
Travel insurance can be used by holders of premium Visa cards, provided that they:
- Have a document on temporary protection or refugee status abroad;
- Travel to a country different from the country of temporary stay;
- Paid for tickets or accommodation with Visa premium cards.
Travel insurance can be used by cardholders, their partner and 5 children.
The service includes:
- Flight delay;
- Baggage delay;
- Medical expenses (doctor's consultation, treatment, examination, etc. are covered);
- Hospitalization (only hospitalization is covered);
- Exemption from obligations in case of damage due to an accident with a rental car;
- Purchase protection.
How to activate insurance abroad?
- If you are traveling within the country of temporary residence, you must pre-book accommodation for at least 2 nights at a distance of at least 100 kilometers from home with your Visa premium card.
- If you are traveling outside the country of temporary residence, you must buy tickets from the country of permanent residence and back with a premium Visa card; or pay for housing with a premium Visa card, and tickets from the country of permanent residence and back in any other way; or pay for the tour. Payment must be made before the start of the trip.

The service is available to holders of Visa Platinum, Visa Platinum Business, Visa Signature, Visa Signature Business, Visa Infinite premium cards through the Visa.Ukraine chatbot.
