Investment funds «OTP Classic» and «OTP Obligatsiynyi» became specialized
Mutual funds “OTP Classic” and “OTP Obligatsiynyi” managed by “OTP Capital” became the first funds in Ukraine, which used an opportunity, provided by the new Law of Ukraine “On Collective Investment Institutions”, and changed their type from diversified to specialized. “OTP Classic” became a money market fund (Certificate NCSSM №851-1 from 24.06.2014), and “OTP Obligatsiynyi” - bond fund (Certificate NCSSM № 00079-1 from 24.06.2014). Changing type will allow these funds to expand their asset investment limits and to implement more flexible investment strategy for yield maximization.
Fund “OTP Classic” is an alternative to savings and short-term deposits, which allows its clients to withdraw money just in one day without yield losses. This is the optimal solution for short-term investments with high liquidity. After the transformation, the fund will focus its activity on investing its assets to bank deposits.
Fund “OTP Obligatsiynyi” can be compared with 6-12 months bank deposits, with ability to sell its certificates on any working day. This fund will specialize in government and bank bonds.
