Policies and procedures governing our ESG activities
OTP Bank`s corporate governance and regulatory framework are based on Ukrainian and EU legislation, and are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as identified by OTP Group as the most material. Our priority is to strengthen and enhance ESG governance processes. Accordingly, the Bank`s internal policies and procedures are grounded in a commitment to and respect for human rights.

The Bank has developed and continuously enhances its Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS), which is based on best European practices. Following a comprehensive Environmental and Social assessment, the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, in cooperation with the World Bank, confirmed that our ESMS is aligned with the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Standards (ESS 1–10). We remain committed to advancing on our sustainability journey, continuing to invest significant efforts in further strengthening and enhancing our ESMS to ensure the integration of ESG criteria across all of the Bank’s operations.
The corporate principles set out in our regulatory documents underpin our day-to-day activities and business decision-making. We consistently take into account the UN Sustainable Development Goals and other relevant sustainability standards when assessing risks and identifying opportunities. We also promote adherence to these principles among our business partners and third parties involved in our operations.
