OTP Bank's sustainability and ESG reporting

Transparency, openness and the ability to measure and track progress are integral to OTP Group’s approach to sustainability and ESG. We are committed to continuous improvement and to providing our stakeholders with clear and meaningful information, which is why we place a strong emphasis on public reporting.

Each year, OTP Group publishes Sustainability Reports, which has formed part of the Integrated Annual Report since 2022. Information on social responsibility, environmental impact and other non-financial indicators is structured and disclosed in accordance with the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

As a result, in 2025 OTP Group became one of the first large companies to report under the new EU sustainability reporting standards and to undergo limited assurance of its sustainability-related disclosures. OTP Bank`s sustainability data form an integral part of this report and were also subject to independent verification.

The independent limited assurance engagement conducted in 2025 identified no material misstatements or non-compliance and confirmed that the sustainability data had been prepared and reported in accordance with the applicable requirements and reporting standards.

In addition to reporting at OTP Group level, OTP Bank prepares an Annual Report covering its activities during the reporting period. A dedicated Sustainable Development section (Section 18), included in the Annual Report, provides information on OTP Bank’s environmental and social responsibility activities, as well as key ESG-related performance indicators.
