Activity of OTP “Obligatsiynyi” resulted in 23.5% of average annual yield
Specialized mutual bond fund "OTP Obligatsiynyi" is completing its activity. The fund was created for investors willing to receive high yield with low level of risk, and be able to make redemption at any time without a yield loss. The fund used an investment strategy, which included conservative fixed income instruments – government and bank bonds, deposits in reputable banks. The period of activity of the fund, since its inception in August 2012, resulted in 69.3% of yield or 23.5% of annual return.
"The fund showed really good investment performance, but competition with high deposit rates and hryvna devaluation, which demotivated clients to invest in UAH-denominated instruments, resulted in low level of net asset volume, that’s why we have made decision to liquidate the fund and focus our activity on development of other products. An alternative to this fund is "OTP Classic", which has similar characteristics – possibility to withdraw capital every day without yield loss, unlimited period of activity and similar investment strategy, - said Vitaliy Dyshlovy, Head of Sales and Marketing Department of "OTP Capital".
