Chairman of the OTP Bank’s Board entered the rating of the best top managers of Ukraine - FOCUS magazine
Volodymyr Mudryi, Chairman of the Board of OTP Bank, entered the rating of the best top managers of Ukraine, which includes 36 CEOs from 12 most important sectors of the economy according to FOCUS magazine, and became one of the three bankers, included in this ranking.
In addition to the financial sector, top managers from the agricultural sector, industry, retail, IT, energy and oil and gas, alcohol and car market, food industry, real estate, pharmaceuticals and telecom entered this rating.
In the process of preparing the rating, Focus conducted a survey of 30 industry experts, analysts and market participants, who analysed the list of candidates and gave them scores on a scale from 0 to 10 on the following parameters: publicity, achievement, reputation, influence. The points were summed up and formed a total score for each participant. The CEOs who received the most points were included in the specified rating.
As the authors note, “in 2021 it became clear that business profits and margins are great issues, but not the core ones. People and their decisions are more important, because they affect the final state of the company, its financial performance and EBITBA. "And during the crisis, the winner is the one who has attracted brave and professional managers to his side. After all, during difficult times, the brand, history and even the number of resources play a smaller role than the individuals who lead the business, " Focus emphasizes.
V. Mudry has held the position of the Chairman of the Management Board of OTP Bank in Ukraine since October 2020. Prior to his appointment, he was a Management Board member of the Bank and was responsible for the development of retail business. In total, he has been working for the OTP Group in Ukraine for 16 years and has two higher educations — the Faculty of Economics of Volyn State University named after Lesya Ukrainka, degree in Finance and Credit, Krannert Business School (USA) and Tias Nimbas Business School (Netherlands), EMBA degree in International Management.
