OTP Bank is in the top ten in the ranking of digital banks
OTP Bank is in the top ten Ukrainian commercial banks in terms of digitalization rates for the first half of 2021. The rating was published in October by Banker.ua magazine, based on official sources and open information.
In total, 21 Ukrainian commercial banks and four state-owned banks were represented in the rating. State and commercial banks were analyzed separately.
The rating consists of four main sections – the popularity of the bank's brand on the Internet, the level of site traffic, the number of subscribers on social networks, and downloads of mobile applications (App Store and Google Play). In all four categories, OTP Bank is in the top ten commercial banks that demonstrate the highest level of activity on the Internet and the usage of modern technological tools. The most intensive growth dynamics compared to the previous rating Banker.ua OTP Bank has in the category the number of subscribers in social networks. The number of subscribers on Facebook, Instagram, and Telegram was taken into account.
OTP Smart Internet banking was presented in the category of the most popular mobile apps. This section takes into account the number of user ratings and the average rating of the app, as well as the number of downloads (this parameter applies to Google Play), and the location of the app among all banking apps in the "Finance" category. According to these indicators, OTP Smart is also among the ten most popular banking applications in Ukraine.
“OTP Smart is a simple way to manage your funds, it possesses the most user-friendly interface, and, of course, access to financial transactions from anywhere in the world. And recently we have expanded the list of its possibilities. In particular, individual clients - residents now are able to send Swift transfers outside of Ukraine with the supporting documents," - said the head of e-business development of OTP Bank Yuri Ponomarenko.
