OTP Bank Helps Ukraine implemented "Laptops for refugee teachers" project
Within the framework of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity program, another project "Laptops for refugee teachers" was implemented.
Twelve laptops worth a total of UAH 300,000 were handed over to teachers from Kherson, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions, who now live in the territory of Horodotsk territorial community in Khmelnytskyi region. All of them are internal refugees who continue to fulfill their professional duty: they teach children, including refugee children around the world. The project was implemented with the help of the NGO "Successful Nation" and the NGO HelpChain.
To remind, among the numerous previously implemented activities within the scope of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine project are: the purchase of two lung ventilators for the Pirogov First Mobile Hospital, fundraising for the purchase of two sets of protective clothing against X-ray radiation for the surgery of the City Clinical Hospital No. 6 of the Dnipro City Council, the initiative "Get a child refugee ready to school" for children from migrant families of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, fundraising for arranging a shelter for the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children in Khmilnytsia village, Chernihiv Region, purchase of bedding sets for the Smila Care Home, as well as the large project "To heroes’ kids". In its frames OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity project, together with the Estonian online gallery of modern paintings plARTform, organized an online auction of paintings by Ukrainian artists "Faces, Colors and Shadows of War" and collected funds for the children of heroes who died defending Ukraine. Also recently OTP Bank handed over scarce consumables for the amount of UAH 1 million to the "Kyiv City Center of Nephrology and Dialysis".
