OTP Banks’ board member was included in TOP-3 retail bankers of the country, — Finawards, 2022
Oleg Klymenko, OTP Banks’ board member responsible for the development of retail business, became one of the three best retail bankers in Ukraine in 2022, according to the Finawards rating by the leading financial portals Minfin.com.ua and Finance.ua.
In the difficult war year of 2022, the retail team of OTP Bank achieved considerable success. In particular, the bank was the first on the banking market to restore targeted retail lending in the largest chains, including Comfy, Eldorado, and Foxtrot, which gave a positive impetus to the lending restoration by the rest of the banks. In general, the volume of loans granted from June 1 to the end of 2022 exceeded UAH 1 billion. Almost at the same time, OTP Bank introduced instant installment payments through a mobile application for purchases paid with credit cards in the partner’s network, which at the end of the year included eight of the largest Ukrainian retailers.
Another key achievement of the bank in the retail market was the growth of the portfolio of term deposits of individuals by almost two times, which allowed the bank to take a leading position in this indicator among commercial banks in 2022.
During 2022, OTP Bank reached the maximum historical level of all indicators of the quality of customer service by the Information Center and increased the customer loyalty index by 16%.
