OTP Bank collected UAH 3 million for Superhumans Center as a result of two charity auctions
OTP Bank collected UAH 3 million as a result of charity auctions dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of Ukraine's Independence, which lasted on August 14-31.
All collected funds will be transferred to the the Superhumans Center for prosthetics of defenders of Ukraine injured during the war with rf.
Of these, UAH 2.5 million was collected with sale of 32 unique lots, in particular, a saber autographed by O. Harlan, a tennis racket and balls by E. Svitolina, a t-shirt of the national football team of Ukraine, decorated as a painting, at an open online auction organized on August 24-31 for all interested parties.
Another almost UAH 500 000 was collected by the internal auction for OTP Bank employees, which took place online from August 14 and included more than 200 lots. It ended on August 25 with an offline auction at which 15 of the most interesting lots were sold. Among them the 100 hryvnia banknote issued in 1918 in the Ukrainian People's Republic, numismatic coins.
Superhumans Center is an ultra-modern centre for the rehabilitation of adults and children affected by the war, established on the base of Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed People named after Yuriy Lypiy in April 2023. The center performs prosthetics, complex reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support of Ukrainians who suffered injuries due to the war. The centre plans to receive up to 3,000 patients annually.
