Let us inform you that the National Agency on Corruption Prevention has excluded the Hungarian OTP Bank from the list of international sponsors of the war. OTP Bank in Ukraine welcomes this decision, which became a precedent in the country's financial market.
OTP Bank in Ukraine and OTP Group are open in their activities and are determined to cooperate positively and constructively with NACP.
During its activity in the Ukraine’s banking market, OTP Bank has always been guided exclusively by the norms of Ukrainian and international law, conducted a responsible business aimed at the development of the economy and was a reliable financial shoulder for Ukrainian Clients - both private individuals and big companies. This is confirmed by the fact that the bank has consistently been included in the list of systemically important banks over the past five years.
With the beginning of a full-scale war, the Ukrainian team of OTP Bank did everything possible to ensure that the financial institution worked and provided services without interruption even under the most challenging conditions: in the difficult February and March of 2022, during massive missile attacks and blackouts. The bank makes monthly transfers to charity funds supporting the country. The OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity project was created to help Ukrainians affected by the war: displaced persons, children of orphanages, hospitals, etc.
Since August, OTP Bank in Ukraine has been actively supporting the non-profit Superhumans Center project, which deals with prosthetics, complex reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation, and psychological support for Ukrainians injured in the war.
OTP Group also supported Ukraine significantly: it sent humanitarian aid, made charitable transfers, and provided shelter for Ukrainian colleagues and their families forced to leave their homes or even the country.
We, OTP Bank Ukraine, will continue to do everything possible financially for Ukraine and its reconstruction!
