OTP BANK makes accent on teamwork and new technologies implementation – L. Syrota
“OTP BANK” JSC within two last years has changed approaches to management of retail branches network and planning horizons, increasing the emphasis on team results as a unit.
Said team leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity project, director of retail business sales and team of OTP BANK L. Syrota during EBA Women`s Club – event, dedicated to women leadership in business.
According to her, earlier Bank has highlighted the best coworkers and encouraged to competition, but now is more important to shape powerful teams, united by one goal – to make Bank more comfortable and closer to the client. “OTP BANK has a network of branches all over Ukraine, who remain in different circumstances and conditions, considering safety situation. We changed approaches to management and planning horizons. Every Monday teams independently determine goals for a week. It made teams tougher. This position proved to be effective”, - said L. Syrota.
As director of retail business sales and team noted, Bank is setting as a goal for yourself further development in several directions, in particular, in using modern technologies. “We already using AI in products and services. In OTP BANK Information Center, modern technologies are involved in many processes, which give us opportunity to work with clients emotions. This allows us to increase client’s empathy, what turned out to be very important in Premium banking. Now this is distinct and quite deep research and consistent implementation”, - she emphasized.
L.Syrota shared with attendants experience of process of important solutions approval. Usually in brainstorm participates team, which examines the details of various cases. “We meticulously examine situation, form hypotheses and then we confirm or deny them. There must be at least three proposals. As life shows, the last option will be better than the first fastest one. We do not make decisions immediately, because it is better to think. This stimulates coworkers to propose interesting and progressive solutions”, - told she.
As attendants emphasized, women`s role in business and collective becomes more significant. Woman`s leadership and soft skills, in particular emotional intelligence, communication and teamwork, become key factors for success. “Modern world demands from us permanent evolving. Do not be afraid to take responsibility. It is necessary to go forward and to build up your own business. For now, there are important and interesting financial support programs for enterprises, who owned or coowned by woman, in particular joint program by OTP BANK and USAID, which offers unique conditions for loans”, - added L. Syrota.
