Event for clients in Lviv: were talking about distributed generation, energy efficiency, services and lending

OTP BANK JSC gathered in Lviv representatives of small and medium businesses to discuss with them urgent issues of development in conditions of energy shortage. The event “Power for Business: preferential lending and co-financing programs, distributed generation and energy efficiency, e-services” became the third in 2024 of the planned series of events for small and medium business clients.

Bank representatives talked with entrepreneurs about the sources of distributed generation, the main groups of electricity consumers, and the potential of implementing distributed generation technologies by 2030 in Ukraine. They also talked about the advantages of financing programs for relevant projects at OTP BANK.

The guests were presented with the Bank's e-services, which make it possible to make the process of conducting foreign economic transactions more convenient and simpler. Attention was focused on novelties in products of global markets.In particular, entrepreneurs were introduced to the advantages of the trading platform (the Click OTPay bank's online client system module, implemented for prompt information on foreign currency purchase and sale rates with the possibility of fixing the rate upon request) and currency swap. Macroeconomic trends and prospects for the further development of the economy were discussed.

For the first time, representatives of international organizations with which the Bank has a successful experience of cooperation acted as speakers at the OTP BANK client event. In particular, the senior consultant of the company "Pro-Consulting" Andriy Mokryakov talked about strategic planning and methods of obtaining grants for business development projects. Deputy Chief of party of the USAID project Investment for Business Resilience Activity Yuliya Vitka shared the information about programs, which allow to expand the possibilities of export potential, as well as ways of obtaining preferential co-financing for business within the framework of the joint program of the Bank and the Project. IFC expert Olga Yakymenko also focused on the topic of energy independence and distributed energy.

During the final session of the seminar, the speakers answered the questions of the clients.

To remind, OTP BANK held the first event in 2024 from a planned series of events for small and medium-sized business clients in March in Odesa, and the second took place in the capital in the summer. Last year, similar seminars were held in Dnipro, Kyiv and Lviv.
