Medical station in special education school was insulated on money of charity donors of OTP Bank Helps Ukraine
Symbolically, on St. Nicholas Day, volunteers congratulated the students of the Mostysche specialized school with sweet gifts. This was not the only surprise for the children - recently all windows were replaced in the premises of the medical station of this educational institution of the Kyiv Regional Council, so from now on students will be able to receive medical care in better conditions. The initiative was implemented at the expense of charity donors within the charity program OTP Bank Helps Ukraine.
"We are thanking to our volunteers and benefactors who joined this project. With joint efforts, we not only paid attention to the students of this educational institution, but also made their lives warmer and more comfortable. Ahead of us await many more important cases aimed at supporting small Ukrainians", - said team leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity project and director of retail sales and network management of OTP BANK Lesia Syrota.
Children with special educational needs study at the Mostysche school, which was built in 1978. The facility's medical center had wooden windows that let in the cold. Due to the constant draft, the temperature regime did not meet the sanitary standards and the optimal values of the microclimate parameters.
Almost 160 benefactors united their efforts to implement the "warm" project. UAH 143,000 was collected for the replacement of windows in the educational institution.
To remind, employees of OTP BANK JSC collected UAH 1 million at an internal charity auction for the purchase of an incubator for the Kharkiv Regional Perinatal Center. This equipment is extremely important for a medical institution, as it is designed to save the lives of premature babies.
