OTP BANK launches a fundraising instrument for volunteers – Kupa
To collect funds for important and urgent needs OTP BANK JSC has developed a convenient digital tool Kupa, which is already available in the OTP Bank UA app.
The features of Kupa are intuitive and simple for both experienced volunteers and those opening their first fundraising. To start collecting funds, in the OTP Bank UA app, you should select the "Money" section and open the Kupa, specify a financial goal, give a name (what the fundraising is for), you can also present an extended description and attach a link to additional content on social networks, on the website, YouTube etc. The owner of the Kupa can view the history of operations - all incomes from donors and withdrawals, and can order a statement in Excel format to e-mail. In addition, it is possible to view the average income check and find out the number of days during which the fundraising continues.
Among the important features of Kupa are built-in templates for sharing stories on Instagram and for creating posts on social networks that help attract attention. There is also an option to share a QR code or a unique link.
Customers of OTP BANK and other banks of Ukraine can replenish the Kupa. "For this, we use the technology of mini-applications - App Clip for iPhone and Google Play Instant for Android, which open quickly and do not require additional authorization. This allows us to have the highest degree of security for transferring funds", - told Head of Digital of OTP BANK Maksym Volchenko. According to him, digital team designed the tool from scratch for to consider all the most important details for a successful fundraising.
"We are sure that volunteering should be transparent and responsible, convenient and effective, so we provide the opportunity to make meetings accessible to everyone. Above all, we continue to keep together", - he noted.
OTP BANK has been implementing its own charity program OTP Bank Helps Ukraine for over two years. Within the program volunteers from the Bank implement initiatives to help children and medical institutions affected by the war. During 2024 funds were collected for the prosthetics center Superhumans Center, for the purchase of ophthalmic equipment at the OKHMATDYT polyclinic, for the restoration of the OKHMATDYT building damaged by a rocket attack, and for the insulation of the Mostysche special school.
Before St. Nicholas' Day, an internal auction was held in the OTP Bank UA app among the Bank's employees, which managed to collect over UAH 1 million. The funds were used to purchase an incubator in the Kharkiv Regional Perinatal Center to save the lives of premature babies. "We believe that with the help of Kupa, volunteers will be able to implement even more good and important initiatives”, - M. Volchenko emphasized.
