OTP BANK donated more than UAH 46 million to charity in 2024
During 2024, OTP BANK JSC made charitable transfers in the amount of over UAH 46 million.
Of these, more than UAH 42 million were directed to charitable foundations. In particular, almost UAH 12 million – Superhumans Center, where prosthetics are made for Ukrainian heroes.
Nearly 4 million UAH within the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine program were directed to the purchase of ophthalmic equipment at the OKHMATDYT polyclinic, the restoration of the OKHMATDYT building damaged by a rocket attack, the insulation of the Mostyshche special school, assistance to orphans and large families. The projects were implemented in cooperation with OTP BANK's long-term partner - CF “Blagomay”. In addition, with the funds of OTP Bank, Hungary, and in partnership with JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", a summer holiday in Budapest was organized for 117 Ukrainian children affected by the war.
In December 2024, OTP BANK employees collected 1 million hryvnias at an internal charity auction to purchase an incubator for the Kharkiv Regional Perinatal Center. This equipment is extremely important for a medical institution, as it is designed to save the lives of premature babies.
“For us, there are no small or insignificant projects - each one leaves a mark in our hearts. Therefore, our team is extremely happy when it is possible to implement a charity initiative. Helping children and medical institutions affected by the war are our main goals, and for two and a half years we have been implementing them within our own charity program OTP Bank Helps Ukraine. Recently, the Bank has developed a convenient digital tool Kupa, which is available in the OTP Bank UA application, so I hope that now we will have even more important and successful meetings”, - said team leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity project and director of retail sales and network management of OTP BANK Lesia Syrota.
OTP Leasing LLC, which is part of OTP Group in Ukraine, allocated UAH 5.3 million for charitable purposes in 2024.
The total contribution of OTP Group in Ukraine to aid the state and Ukrainians as of February 2022 has exceeded UAH 200 million.
