OTP BANK is more accessible for clients: 4 branches in Kyiv became inclusive
OTP BANK JSC is actively working on creating an inclusive space in its network. In Kyiv, four branches of the Bank have been renovated to serve people with disabilities and other groups of the population with reduced mobility.
“Creating equal opportunities for all customers, regardless of their characteristics and needs, is a basic necessity. OTP BANK strives to be a bank in which financial services can be easily obtained by a person with visual or hearing impairment, in a wheelchair or on crutches, and we also take care of the interests of the elderly and parents with infants. We adapt our branches and make them more convenient and comfortable for all visitors without exception”, - said director of retail sales and network management of OTP BANK Lesia Syrota.
In particular, in the capital were renovated:
- “Mykhailivs'ke” branch (Mykhailivs'ka Street 2)
- “Pecherske” branch (Konovaltsia Street 44)
- “Rusanivske” branch (Raisy Okipnoi Street 4)
- “Svyatoshyns'ke” branch (Beresteiskyi Avenue 128/2)
Staff call bells and Braille signs are installed there, duplicating information about the working hours and the name of the Bank's branch. OTP BANK took care of arranging ramps with handrails and tactile elements in front of the entrance doors of branches. Tactile indicators make it easier to navigate in self-service areas.
In total, in 2025, the Bank will allocate over UAH 6.5 million to renovate 22 of its branches in various regions of Ukraine. In the near future, the regional office in Vinnytsia will become inclusive.
