The OTP Kids Camp project is aimed at the psychological recovery of Ukrainian children – Lesya Syrota
The OTP Kids Camp summer camp for children will be held for the third year in a row, and its main goal is the psychological recovery and improvement of Ukrainian children. This told team leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charity project and director of retail sales and network management of OTP BANK JSC Lesia Syrota during the meeting of the European Business Association and the Blagomay Charity Foundation "The Power of Good: Business and Charity in Action".
She noted that this year the camp will have two locations: in the Hungarian capital Budapest and in an area near the "Hungarian Sea" - the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe, Balaton. According to her, 4 shifts are planned, during which 164 children will be able to relax.
OTP Kids Camp is a charitable initiative, the implementation of which involves several partners: OTP BANK JSC, OTP Bank in Hungary, JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" and the "Blagomay" CF.

Summer is the best time to help them regain strength and find friends, create a real fairy tale atmosphere for children and improve their health. And the fact that we have been holding OTP Kids Camp for the third year in a row and are consistently supported by our partners shows that this is an important and urgent need, and that this initiative brings real benefits.», – told L. Syrota.
To remind, the OTP Kids Camp charity project was first implemented in the summer of 2023, when 150 Ukrainian children from the frontline regions of Ukraine recovered. The tradition was continued in 2024 - 117 children affected by the war rested at the summer camp in Budapest. Then Ukrzaliznytsia provided special trains to transport children from Kyiv to Budapest and back, and OTP Bank covered all costs for the implementation of the camp program, as well as accommodation and meals at the hotel.
