Summer holidays for Ukrainian children: OTP Kids Camp kicks off

The OTP Kids Camp has officially opened its doors in Budapest, with its main goal being to provide recovery and recreation for Ukrainian children.

The first group departed from Kyiv for Hungary last Friday. In total, four sessions are planned for 160 children.

“It is hard to put into words the emotions of the children setting off on their big summer journey. For them, this is an unforgettable adventure that they will fondly remember throughout the school year. For us, it is an opportunity to bring them joy, help them recharge, regain strength during these challenging times, and make new friends. We are deeply grateful to our partners for their support and contribution — together we are making an important matter,” said Kristina Feher, HR Director at OTP Bank.

OTP Kids Camp is a charitable initiative supported by several partners, including JSC “OTP Bank”, OTP Bank in Hungary, JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, and the Charitable Fondation “Blagomay”.

The camp has already become a cherished summer tradition, now being held for the third year in a row. The first OTP Kids Camp took place in 2023, when 150 Ukrainian children from frontline regions enjoyed a restorative holiday. The tradition continued in 2024, with 117 children affected by the war spending their summer in the Budapest camp.
