OTP Kids Camp welcomes its final session of the year

The summer camp for Ukrainian children affected by the war has hosted its fourth and final session in Budapest.

From Kyiv Central Railway Station, the children were seen off to Hungary by representatives of OTP Bank JSC, Ukrzaliznytsia, and the Blagomay Charitable Foundation.

“The words ‘children’ and ‘war’ should never stand side by side. We make every effort to ensure that our young campers can, at least for a while, immerse themselves in an atmosphere of carefree childhood, lightheartedness, and a true summer fairy tale. Anxiety — minus, joy and inspiration — plus,” noted Volodymyr Mudryi, Chairman of the Board of OTP BANK.

OTP Kids Camp is a joint socially significant project of OTP Bank, OTP Group, Ukrzaliznytsia, and the Blagomay Foundation. Its main purpose is to provide rest and psychological recovery for Ukrainian children and teenagers.

This year, 160 children enjoyed their time at the camp. Each session offered a rich program aimed at both physical development and health improvement, as well as psychological relaxation and learning. The children swam in pools, went on sightseeing tours around Budapest, engaged in sports and art therapy, danced at discos, learned to cook desserts, and every evening lit candles and shared their impressions of the day.

Holding OTP Kids Camp has already become a good tradition, continuing for the third year in a row. The first camp took place in 2023, when 150 Ukrainian children from frontline regions of Ukraine benefited from rest and recovery. In 2024, 117 children affected by the war participated in the Budapest summer camp.
