“Together with farmers”: OTP BANK supported the “Agronomist of the Year” award
OTP BANK JSC became a partner of the annual “Agronomist of the Year” award by The Ukrainian Farmer magazine, which recognized the 100 best agronomists of Ukraine for their significant contribution to improving the efficiency of agricultural production, as well as the implementation of modern technologies and innovations.
“We stand together with farmers. That is why, together with the Agro Factory team, OTP Bank took part in the agricultural Oscars “Agronomist of the Year”, where we met with our existing clients and established new connections. Within our flagship project “Agro Factory”, OTP Bank offers farmers the best solutions in response to the needs and challenges they face in their daily work,” said Pavlo Huzyr, the head of alternative sales channels “Agro Factory” of OTP Bank.
“Agro Factory” OTP BANK provides a wide range of solutions for agricultural producers, including a comprehensive program of fast and flexible financing for farmers. These include:
- scoring decisions within one day, with funds available from 9 business days;
- financing up to UAH 5 million without collateral and up to UAH 20 million secured by future harvest (forward agricultural receipts – FAR);
- partner lending programs with reduced interest rates in cooperation with well-known suppliers of seeds and crop protection products;
- state and international support programs;
- term loans and credit lines for working capital financing, investment financing for modernization of agricultural machinery, elevator equipment, energy-efficient and irrigation technologies, purchase of agricultural land, and more.

Together with OTP Bank, the award ceremony was also attended by the partner – DruKArmiia volunteers, with whom the Bank raises funds for plastic and produces, including on its own 3D printers, products necessary for Ukrainian defenders (from training models to life-saving equipment). Contributions to the plastic fund are made by the Bank itself, its employees, as well as its clients. Over the past 1.5 years, donations have already exceeded UAH 13.5 million, which equals 45 tons of plastic.
At the “Agronomist of the Year” event, guests had the opportunity to see how a 3D printer works. Representatives of OTP Bank and DruKArmiia raised more than UAH 22,000 within a few hours, which will allow the purchase of almost 75 kg of plastic for printing auxiliary equipment for Ukraine’s defenders.
