OTP BANK JSC creates a supportive working environment and implements various programs that allow employees to receive assistance on a daily basis, not only in critical situations. This approach is effective, as a motivated team increases productivity, stimulates the implementation of innovative ideas, and therefore contributes to the company’s development, said Bohdan Shcherba, Head of the Compensation and Performance Management Department at OTP BANK, during the “Well-being and Health” panel discussion held within the annual HR PRO Awards ceremony.

He shared with the audience the Bank’s key initiatives aimed at supporting colleagues. In particular, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, OTP BANK has actively supported employees who needed to relocate to relatively safe regions, provided them with financial assistance, and made available the option of corporate psychological support, which later became highly popular among employees. OTP BANK also successfully operates a pharmacy cashback program, offers opportunities to undergo a comprehensive medical examination, and encourages participation in various sports competitions. In addition, the Bank provides a reimbursement program for English language courses, offers attractive corporate discounts on goods and services from partners, and implements other projects aimed at comprehensively meeting employees’ needs.

Special attention is paid to mental and physical health. The HR team has introduced the comprehensive BetterMe solution, an international wellness platform with Ukrainian roots that has become a corporate guide to sports and a healthy lifestyle, helping millions of people around the world achieve their goals. Educational webinars are regularly held for employees, useful materials are published, and thematic challenges are organized.
