Investing in good: OTP BANK allocated nearly UAH 67 million to charity in 2025

Throughout 2025, OTP BANK JSC made charitable transfers totaling nearly UAH 67 million. The Bank systematically cooperates with charitable organizations that implement socially significant programs and support Ukrainians, while also bringing to life important initiatives within its own project, OTP Bank Helps Ukraine.

“The goal of OTP Bank’s charitable activities is to create a real and tangible impact on the lives of as many people as possible. This includes helping children, supporting the healthcare sector, and providing Ukrainian defenders with life-saving equipment. We consciously combine large-scale programs that we consistently implement year after year with targeted initiatives that respond to specific human needs. It is important that every hryvnia allocated to charity contributes to support, recovery, and a dignified future for citizens — both today and in the long term,” said Lesia Syrota, Team Leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine charitable project and Director of the Retail Sales and Network Management Department at OTP BANK.

Among OTP BANK’s priority long-term projects is its support of Superhumans Center, where since April 2023 more than 1,500 patients have received assistance, over 1,300 prostheses have been manufactured, and more than 1,000 surgeries have been performed. In December 2025, the financial institution launched a Christmas charity auction. The Bank will double the funds raised and direct them to the treatment and rehabilitation of Ukrainian women and men who were injured or lost limbs as a result of the war. Overall, during the period of cooperation, the prosthetics and rehabilitation center has received more than UAH 40 million in charitable support from the Bank.

Another initiative that has become a sustainable tradition is OTP Kids Camp, which OTP BANK JSC organizes jointly with the Blagomay Charitable Foundation, OTP Bank in Hungary, and JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia,” to give Ukrainian children the opportunity to rest and recover. The first camp took place in Hungary in 2023 and hosted 150 children from frontline regions. In 2024, 117 children spent their summer holidays at a camp in Budapest. This summer, 160 children attended OTP Kids Camp, and in the autumn the camp opened its doors for the first time to an additional 40 Ukrainian children.

The OTP Bank Helps Ukraine community also consistently implements the “First Vyshyvankas” initiative. Over two years, 854 children received their first embroidered shirt in their lives on Vyshyvanka Day.

OTP BANK actively and systematically supports DrukArmy: Bank employees purchased 16 3D printers used to print training models and equipment components for defenders. Every month, the team donates funds for plastic materials and periodically conducts charity campaigns, engaging clients in fundraising for raw materials. The total amount of donations has already exceeded UAH 16 million.

Together with the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation, the financial institution held the “Free Sky in 34” charity auction in the OTP Bank UA mobile application. The collected UAH 1.85 million was directed toward strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

Thanks to benefactors, within the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine program, UAH 250,000 was allocated for renovation works at the dormitory of the Udaytsi Educational and Rehabilitation Center, where 65 children reside. On the eve of the New Year holidays, OTP BANK employees became helpers of St. Nicholas and fulfilled the wishes of children from this institution, as well as from the Chernihiv Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation. Warm clothing, footwear, blankets, pillows, power banks, construction sets, dolls, headphones, sweets, and other gifts worth over UAH 750,000 were purchased by Bank employees with their own funds and delivered to the children. In addition, residents of the Nizhyn Children’s Residential Care Facility (Chernihiv region) received sweet holiday gifts from the Bank’s team, while the institution itself received essential hygiene products needed by its residents on a daily basis. The total value of this charitable initiative amounted to UAH 204,000.

During the year, within the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine initiative, the Bank raised and allocated UAH 250,000 for medical equipment for the Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Center at the Vinnytsia Regional Specialized Children’s Home; UAH 156,000 for the construction of a sports playground at a children’s residential care facility in the town of Stryzhavka (Vinnytsia region); UAH 143,000 for the installation of new windows at the medical unit of the Mostyshche Special School (Kyiv region); and UAH 84,000 to improve living conditions for residents of the Nadiia Educational and Rehabilitation Center (Cherkasy region).
