OTP BANK receives recognition for fair tax payment and ranks among the top three private banks by taxes paid
Based on the results of 2025, OTP BANK JSC transferred UAH 3.4 billion in taxes and fees to budgets at all levels. The largest share of tax payments was represented by corporate income tax, amounting to UAH 2.27 billion. The remaining amount was paid in the form of VAT, local taxes and fees, tax on non-residents’ income, unified social contribution, personal income tax.
For the high quality of banking services, industry leadership, reliability, and fair tax payment, OTP BANK received the award from Danylo Hetmantsev, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy. The award was received by Volodymyr Mudryi, CEO of OTP BANK.
Earlier, Danylo Hetmantsev announced that based on the results of 2025, OTP BANK ranked third among privately owned banks and foreign banks in terms of the total amount of taxes paid during the year.

This includes funding national defense, social spending, the restoration of critical infrastructure and, ultimately, economic growth. OTP BANK still has room to grow in the competitive race to expand its balance sheet. However, being ranked among the top three private and foreign-owned banks by tax payments during such challenging times for the state budget once again confirms the Bank’s high operating standards. This is an investment in our reputation, the trust of our clients and partners, and our long-term competitiveness,” said Volodymyr Mudryi, Chairman of the Management Board of OTP BANK.
OTP BANK is included in the list of taxpayers with a high level of voluntary tax compliance — the so-called “White Business Club” — compiled and published by the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
During 2025 OTP BANK continued its active charitable activities and made donations totalling nearly UAH 67 million. The Bank maintains long-term cooperation with charitable organizations implementing socially significant programmes and providing support to Ukrainians, and also delivers important initiatives through its own project, OTP Bank Helps Ukraine. The total contribution of the OTP Group in Ukraine to supporting the state and the Ukrainian people since February 2022 has exceeded UAH 287 million.
