OTP Bank Innovation Center is recognized as a one of the best in the world for the second time
This year OTP LAB was nominated by the Global Finance Magazine and has gained a prize of the “Best Financial Innovation Labs”.
Such a distinction is granted to financial innovation hubs, which are constantly conduct a research, investigate new directions and apply new approaches in financial world.
Besides OTP LAB, such a distinction was granted to Barclays, Boston Consulting Group, Citibank, Commerzbank, PayPal, UBS and Wells Fargo. Global Finance Magazine constantly rewards banks and other companies, which are providing financial services in different categories; these awards are recognized by the global financial community as a sign of excellence.
Three years ago OTP Bank has created OTP LAB in order to support innovative ideas of its employees and cooperate with startups, innovative technological companies and educational institutions for the search of modern solutions. Smooth development of digitalization enabled OTP LAB to gather and embody novel ideas in the bank and beyond, transferring to the leading financial company.
In the framework of the OTP Startup Partner Program, the bank has been able to establish contacts with more than 850 startups, as well as to launch pilot projects with more than 30 partners from the list.
