OTP Bank to refund under better conditions loans received abroad by Ukrainian enterprises, —V.Mudryi

OTP Bank is ready to refund under more beneficial terms Ukrainian enterprises’ loans, received by them at foreign banks. OTP Bank’s CEO Volodymyr Mudryi announced this.

According to him, OTP Bank is able to provide lending support to domestic producers with export potential and stable financial condition under better conditions than banks offer to borrowers abroad. "We are ready to lend such borrowers at the better rates than foreign banks are used to apply, or under similar conditions. Therefore, the Ukrainian companies’ desire to take loans at European interest rates has already become a reality, "— the Banker stressed.

So, last week OTP Bank signed a loan agreement with one of the largest Ukrainian producers PJSC "VGP" for the amount of EUR 4 mio to refund the its loan debt in a banking group from Central Europe.

“Refinancing with the OTP Bank’s participation allowed the company to improve actual lending conditions. This project was quite difficult, since we had to coordinate with a foreign bank to comply with the legal requirements of both countries, but for reliable and proven customers, we will make such individual decisions in the future," — V. Mudryi highlighted.

OTP Bank actively supports domestic producers and has a wide range of banking products for business, including working capital lending and investment lending.
