OTP Bank confirmed to be systemically important bank in 2022

For the fourth year in a row, OTP Bank enters the list of systemically important banks based on the results of the annual review by the National Bank of Ukraine, according to the NBU website. The regulator included 14 institutions in the list in total this year.

Systemically important banks have a significant impact on the country's financial system, usually offer an expanded list of operations and services of varying complexity, characterized by a significant amount of capital and assets. Increased requirements have also been set for systemically important banks to ensure their increased stability.

To recap, in 2019, according to the decision of the NBU, OTP Bank was included in the list of systemically important banks of Ukraine consistently maintained this status during recent years.
