OTP Bank Transferred over UAH 1.2 mio to Help Army as Part of Joint Initiative with Mastercard

OTP Bank transferred more than UAH 1.2 mio to support the Ukrainian army as part of a joint charitable initiative with Mastercard during its validity from April 1 to June 30.

Under the initiative terms, OTP Bank transferred UAH 1 to the Ukraine`s Armed Forces` account for each replenishment of the Mastercard card issued by OTP Bank from a card of another bank via transfer by a card number.

Thus, a client's card was credited for the whole transfer amount, while OTP Bank transferred UAH 1 to the Armed Forces` account at its own expense.

The p2p transfers are the most popular type of transfers with the biggest share in the total number of transfers between individuals.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, OTP Bank has transferred more than UAH 12.2 million for the needs of the Armed Forces in total.
