OTP Bank introduced "Protection against fraudsters" service in mobile banking
OTP Bank introduced the first insurance service in OTP Bank UA mobile banking - insurance of account funds against fraudulent operations "Protection against fraudsters".
The insurance program "Protection against fraudsters" allows to additionally protect the holder of a card or an account in OTP Bank against the loss of funds due to fraudulent actions. The contract is drawn up easily and quickly online, without the need to visit a bank branch.
The partner of OTP Bank in providing the service is the CARDIF insurance company - an expert in bank insurance.
The cost of the "Protection against fraudsters" service is UAH 25 per month.
The total insurance amount under the terms of the contract is UAH 40,000 per year.
The insurance service "Protection against fraudsters" covers the client's financial losses in cases of:
- "Fraud", which includes transactions using a counterfeit payment card, a stolen or lost card, a fraudulent device for dispensing ATM bills, theft of card details, fraudulent transactions without the presence of a card;
- "Frauds under the influence of deception" or social engineering, namely financial losses caused to the client in case of a duplicate SIM card with a financial number, psychological pressure and data extortion.
Mobile banking from OTP Bank provides an easy and understandable registration procedure. To order a service in OTP Bank UA mobile banking, select the card or account on which you want to insure the funds, click on "Manage" and then on "Insurance of funds" in the window that opens.
