Superhumans Center and OTP Bank signed an agreement on a charitable donation for 2023-2024

OTP Bank signed an agreement on a charitable donation for 2023-2024 with Superhumans - a non-profit project without state funding, created on the basis of Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Repressed People named after Yuriy Lypiy, which functions thanks to donors and benefactors, and deals with prosthetics, complex reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support of Ukrainians who suffered injuries due to the war.

Financing is planned for two very important areas: prosthetics of heroes, their return to social life or to the defense of the country, and the creation of an educational center aimed for scaling up assistance and training of prosthetists, whose shortage exists today.

In September, the bank already transferred UAH 5 million to the Superhumans Center for the creation of an educational center on its basis, and also decided on a monthly transfer of aid for the prosthetics of Ukrainian military personnel who suffered as a result of the war with rf.

"I was at the Superhumans Center, I saw people who have undergone prosthetics and rehabilitation. Their energy and thirst to return to life is just amazing. They are real heroes. And this is really a project that we want to support," commented sign of agreement with the Superhumans Center OTP Bank CEO Volodymyr Mudry.

"I was very impressed by Olga Rudneva's interview about veterans. Felt it. My daughter, our children will live in a country of veterans and it is very important that they see veterans with modern prostheses. Superhumans Center applies a comprehensive approach to treatment and strives to change the perception and psychological approach to Ukrainians who have suffered complex injuries and lost limbs," said Lesya Syrota, team leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine project.

"We are happy to have another partner from the banking sector who understands the importance of expertise development on the provision of medical care for military injuries in Ukraine.

Today, it is important for us to teach our prosthetists and rehabilitators to provide quality service in Ukraine and to put people back on their feet as soon as possible and return to normal life. Exactly in these directions, we plan to work with OTP. With joint efforts, we will be able to teach our specialists to provide the best services and give to our defenders and civilians confidence that lost opportunities will be returned to them at home" - tells about the cooperation CEO of Superhumans Center Olga Rudneva.

To recap, in August, on the eve of the Independence Day of Ukraine, OTP Bank held two charity online auctions - an internal one for employees and an external one for anyone interested, at which more than UAH 3 million was collected with the sale of valuable commemorative lots. The full sum was transferred to the Superhumans Center for the prosthetics of defenders of Ukraine.
