OTP Bank held educational events dedicated to the Savings week

OTP Bank joined the "Savings week" project of the National Bank of Ukraine to improve Ukrainian children’s financial literacy and awareness.

In frames of the project, OTP Bank employees conducted a series of educational events in various cities of Ukraine for schoolchildren. During them, employees playfully told children about the importance of savings and financial planning. Banknote counters and devices for checking money, as well as quizzes and contests, in which the children won diplomas and gold medals, were of particular interest to schoolchildren.

In total, OTP Bank employees organized 43 events, including interesting classes in schools and lyceums, as well as exciting excursions to OTP Bank branches, for more than 1,500 children and teenagers. In Cherkasy, a financial literacy lesson was held for children of heroes.

The geography of the project included both large cities - Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Ternopil, Uzhhorod, Sumy, Poltava, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lutsk, Kropyvnytskyi, Khmelnytskyi, and smaller cities - Brovary, Bila Tserkva, Izmail, Kamianske, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih, Mukacheve, Stryi, Pervomaisk, Pavlohrad, and even the towns of Velikopolovetske and Mshany.
