OTP BANK and Spectr-Agro launch preferential financing program for farmers
OTP BANK JSC and LLC Spectr-Agro have launched a new partnership financing program for agricultural producers. The program offers farmers attractive lending terms to finance the purchase of a selected range of fertilizers, crop protection products, and seeds.
Spectr-Agro is a leading distributor in the agrochemicals and seeds market, supplying agricultural producers with crop protection products, mineral fertilizers, seeds, and agricultural machinery from ведущі multinational and globally recognized manufacturers. The company operates 19 regional offices across Ukraine and employs over 120 sales managers ready to provide consultations.
Under the program, OTP BANK and Spectr-Agro offer partner loans in the national currency at reduced interest rates depending on the financing tenor:
- 0.01% p.a. — up to 3 months (90 days)
- 1.0% p.a. — up to 4 months (120 days)
- 6.50% p.a. — up to 6 months (180 days)
- 9.60% p.a. — up to 9 months (270 days)
- 11.20% p.a. — up to 12 months (360 days)
An additional advantage of the program is the absence of a one-time loan origination fee. The maximum financing tenor is up to 12 months.
The program also includes a financing instrument in the form of an avalized promissory note with an interest rate of 0.01% p.a. and a one-time fee of 1%.
Eligibility criteria for agricultural enterprises:
- at least 3 seasons of relevant operating experience
- land bank starting from 200 hectares
- financing amount: up to UAH 5 million unsecured and up to UAH 40 million with collateral
Accepted collateral includes a personal guarantee from the business owner, a pledge of an agricultural financial receipt (with coverage of at least 150% of the financing amount), or hard collateral (agricultural machinery or real estate).
