OTP BANK joined the “Critical Infrastructure” social initiative and supported media in frontline regions
OTP BANK JSC has become part of a project aimed at supporting media outlets operating in frontline regions. Among the beneficiaries are Kordon.Media (Sumy), MOST (Kherson), MykVisti (Mykolaiv), Gwara (Kharkiv), and Dnipro.media (Dnipro).
The “Critical Infrastructure” campaign has already raised UAH 1.5 million, bringing together responsible businesses and engaged citizens. The initiative was launched by Ukrainska Pravda, DTEK, and the Darmili brand.
At the heart of the fundraising effort is a charitable collection of hoodies and T-shirts designed by Elvira Hasanova. All proceeds from sales are directed toward supporting the work of editorial teams.
“Today, independent journalism requires no less support than the energy sector, the financial system, or other critical industries. OTP BANK joined the ‘Critical Infrastructure’ project because we firmly believe that without independent media, it is impossible to maintain either public trust or societal resilience. This initiative is dedicated to those who work with facts every day. By supporting independent media in frontline regions, we help society remain informed and strong, as truth is not an abstract concept but the foundation of stability,” said Volodymyr Mudryi, Chairman of the Management Board of OTP BANK.
