OTP Bank and STEM CAPITAL partner to strengthen business energy independence
JSC OTP Bank has launched a partnership with STEM CAPITAL aimed at supporting the development and financing of solar energy projects on attractive terms. This collaboration will provide businesses with broader opportunities to transition to self-generation of electricity and enhance their energy independence.
Under the partnership, OTP Bank will provide financing for energy-efficiency projects implemented by STEM CAPITAL, helping clients optimize investment costs and distribute financial commitments more flexibly.
Financing terms offered by OTP Bank
- Financing for up to 7 years with a minimum down payment of 15%;
- A streamlined documentation package, requiring only financial statements and an application form;
- An accelerated credit approval process;
- The option of a grace period for principal repayment;
- Financing without additional collateral.
Clients may also benefit from the government-backed Affordable Loans 5–7–9% program, implemented by the Government of Ukraine at the initiative of the President through the National Development Institution. In addition, projects may qualify for an EBRD incentive of up to 30% of the project cost.
STEM CAPITAL is a Ukrainian company that began operations in 2011 as an electrical installation service provider and subsequently evolved into a developer of innovative energy solutions. Since 2017, the company has been actively involved in the renewable energy sector, designing and participating in the construction of solar power plants.
Since 2021, STEM CAPITAL has been developing energy storage system solutions, and since 2024 it has expanded into dispatchable generation projects, including gas-powered generation facilities. The company provides a full range of turnkey services, from land selection and project design to commissioning, bringing together all required expertise within a single organization.
