Volodymyr Mudryi ranked among Ukraine’s top executives by Focus magazine

Volodymyr Mudryi, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC OTP BANK, has topped the Top Managers of Ukraine 2026 ranking as one of the country’s leading financial sector executives, according to Focus magazine.

Volodymyr Mudryi has served as Chairman of the Management Board of OTP BANK since October 2020. Under his leadership, the Bank has consistently implemented its strategy of supporting businesses, advancing digital services, and strengthening financial resilience.

One of the Bank’s key priorities is financing Ukraine’s economy. OTP BANK continues to actively lend to both the corporate sector, particularly companies restoring production capacities and investing in energy independence, and retail customers, including consumer financing and car loans. According to Volodymyr Mudryi, business demand for investment capital remains one of the key drivers of growth in the banking sector.

The Bank’s reliability was further confirmed by the results of the National Bank of Ukraine’s 2025 resilience assessment. Following the review, OTP BANK demonstrated a high level of capitalization and strong asset quality. The Bank’s Core Tier 1 capital adequacy ratio stood at 39.25%, significantly exceeding the minimum requirement of 12.5%, and no additional capitalization was required.

"The resilience assessment results once again confirmed that OTP BANK’s business model is balanced and has strong potential for further growth and financing the recovery of businesses," Volodymyr Mudryi commented.

Digital transformation also remains among OTP BANK’s strategic priorities. The Bank is actively introducing modern technologies, including artificial intelligence-based solutions, to enhance customer experience, optimize internal processes, and further develop mobile banking services.

Under Volodymyr Mudryi’s leadership, OTP BANK is implementing veteran support initiatives and charitable projects. In particular, the Bank joined a program supporting veteran-owned businesses through private bond financing and continues to aid the Superhumans Center for rehabilitation and prosthetics. Since the start of the war, OTP Group’s total support to Ukraine and its people has amounted to nearly UAH 325 million.

Volodymyr Mudryi has been with OTP BANK for more than 21 years. Before being appointed Chairman of the Management Board, he served as a member of the Management Board and was responsible for the development of the Bank’s retail business. He holds a degree in Economics from Lesya Ukrainka Volyn State University and an Executive MBA in International Management earned through Krannert Business School (USA) and TiasNimbas Business School (the Netherlands).

Since June 2023, he has also served as Chairman of the Council of the National Association of Banks of Ukraine.
