OTP Bank strengthens support for farmers ahead of the autumn sowing season
JSC OTP Bank is expanding financing opportunities for small and medium-sized agricultural producers through partnership programmes with leading manufacturers and distributors of agricultural inputs. As a result, farmers can purchase resources for the upcoming autumn planting season with financing starting from 0.01% per annum for a term of up to 12 months.
Ukraine’s agricultural sector continues to operate under challenging conditions. This year, flooding and disruptions in port operations have affected logistics and created additional challenges for many producers. In such circumstances, access to financing is becoming increasingly important.
Through OTP Bank’s partnership programmes, farmers can finance the purchase of seeds, fertilizers, crop protection products, and fuel during periods of peak demand, while making repayments after the harvest season and market price stabilization. This enables agricultural producers to carry out planting operations on time without putting additional pressure on their operating budgets.
Programme terms
- Loan amount: up to UAH 5 million without collateral or up to UAH 40 million secured by a financial agricultural receipt;
- Financing term: 3 to 12 months;
- Interest rate: from 0.01% per annum;
- Application review period: within one business day;
- Loan disbursement: from 9 days;
- Minimum documentation package required.
The 0.01% interest rate applies to loans with maturities ranging from 3 to 7 months, depending on the selected partner and product category. Applications can be submitted independently online through the Bank’s digital portal.
“We understand that agricultural producers often need financing urgently, especially during sowing and harvesting campaigns. That is why we continue to expand our partnership programmes with suppliers of agricultural inputs, allowing clients to obtain the resources they need on attractive terms and at the right time. We have also simplified the application process and shortened decision-making timelines, enabling farmers to access financing exactly when they need it most,” said Pavlo Huzyr, Head of Alternative Sales Channels at OTP Agro Factory.
Under the Agro Factory programme, OTP Bank cooperates with dozens of leading international and Ukrainian agricultural input suppliers, including Syngenta, Lidea, Timac Agro, Nuseed, Ukravit, Alfa Smart Agro, LNZ, and others. This allows agricultural producers to work with trusted suppliers and choose solutions that best meet the needs of their farms. A full list of partners is available on the Bank’s website.
The Bank’s extensive partner network and attractive financing terms continue to drive strong demand for these solutions. Since the beginning of 2026 alone, OTP Bank has provided more than UAH 300 million in financing to small and medium-sized agricultural businesses through partner programmes.
To ensure broad access to financing, OTP Bank also offers other funding solutions, including those available under the government-backed Affordable Loans 5-7-9% programme. Since the beginning of the year, agricultural producers have received more than UAH 1 638,30 million in financing under this programme, reflecting both strong demand for the Bank’s financial solutions and a high level of customer trust.
OTP Bank will continue to develop financing solutions for agribusiness, supporting clients at every stage of the agricultural production cycle.
