Businesses can obtain a loan for solar power plants at an annual rate starting from 0.01% through a partnership between OTP Bank and Freedom Energy Ukraine
JSC OTP BANK and Freedom Energy Ukraine have entered into a partnership agreement that provides Ukrainian businesses with access to a tailored financing program for solar energy projects. Under the special terms of the partnership, clients can obtain funding for the installation of solar power plants (SPPs) on preferential terms, with interest rates starting from 0.01% per annum.
"We understand that businesses need not only a high-quality energy solution but also the most advantageous financing conditions. That is why our partnership program enables clients to start with a financing rate of 0.01% per annum during the first four months and then benefit from a subsidized rate of 7%. This is a unique opportunity to implement renewable energy projects without placing a significant burden on company budgets," said Iryna Kabantseva, Head of Alternative Sales Channels Projects and Programs at OTP BANK.
Partnership Program Terms (Subsidized Interest Rate: 7%)
- Currency: UAH (Ukrainian hryvnia);
- Interest rate for the first 4 months (annual): 0.01%;
- Subsidized interest rate starting from the 5th month (annual): 7%*;
- Loan term: up to 84 months (7 years);
- Secured by the financed equipment.
* Applicable within the framework of the state program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%”, provided that the borrower meets the program’s eligibility requirements.
Freedom Energy Ukraine has successfully completed more than 100 projects across Ukraine.
