OTP Bank receives recognition from the National Guard of Ukraine for participation in the “Modern Strength of Women” project
JSC OTP Bank has received a letter of appreciation from the National Guard of Ukraine for its contribution to the “Modern Strength of Women” project, an initiative aimed at supporting and empowering women service members. The award was presented to the Bank by Brigadier General Valentyn Ostryzhnyi, Deputy Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine for Personnel Affairs.
As part of the cooperation memorandum between OTP Bank and the National Guard of Ukraine, Bank specialists conducted training sessions for women service members focused on strengthening financial resilience and building confidence in personal financial management.
“The principle ‘The National Guard is people’ truly resonates with us. That is why we were proud to support the bold decision to launch a dedicated project for women service members. Support is not only about resources. It is also about knowledge, new opportunities, understanding people's needs, and creating conditions for their development,” said Lesia Syrota, Team Leader of the OTP Bank Helps Ukraine programme and Director of Retail Banking Sales and Network Management at OTP Bank.
Participation in the “Modern Strength of Women” project provided OTP Bank with another opportunity to support those who work every day to safeguard the country’s security. The Bank will continue to support initiatives that promote financial literacy and create new opportunities for Ukrainians.
