OTP BANK and KEA ENGINEERING simplify access to financing for solar energy projects for Ukrainian businesses
JSC OTP BANK and KEA ENGINEERING have agreed to cooperate in financing solar energy projects for Ukrainian businesses. The parties signed a memorandum providing for the combination of the Bank’s financial solutions and KEA ENGINEERING’s engineering expertise to support the implementation of solar power plants and energy storage systems by enterprises.
"Our partnership is designed to make the implementation of such projects simpler and more accessible for clients. This will enable them to transition more quickly to modern energy solutions while receiving comprehensive support at every stage of project implementation," said Iryna Kabantseva, Head of alternative sales channels projects and programs at OTP BANK.
KEA ENGINEERING specializes in the design, procurement, and turnkey construction of solar power plants of any complexity and capacity, as well as the implementation of energy storage projects for businesses.
OTP BANK offers flexible financial instruments for the implementation of energy initiatives. In particular, financing is available for up to 7 years with a down payment starting from 15% and without additional collateral. Clients can also take advantage of the state program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%”, which is implemented by the Government of Ukraine through the National Development Institution.
In addition, projects may qualify for compensation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) of up to 30% of their value.
